After a long busy day, a thousand thoughts might be running through your mind, most of them unnecessary or negative. You might be questioning things that happened that day or just be frustrated. Whatever is the case, you shouldn’t sleep with a mindset like that. It’s not healthy, and nor will you get any good sleep.

Before sleeping, you should always say these things to bring positive energy to the mind. If you say these positive phrases, there are fewer chances of getting nightmares, waking up in the night, and much better chances of sound sleep.

1. Thank you, god/universe, for a wonderful day

This affirmation is very powerful. You should always thank god for the beautiful and wonderful day that you just had regardless of how you thought it was because you lived through this day.

You survived this day, that’s a miracle in itself.

2. I did my best today

No matter how your day went, you should tell yourself you did your best.

After trying hard to be your best self, it’s okay to not succeed at first, but what is important is that you did your best and that is all you could have done.

3. I am the creator of my Destiny

You should always remind yourself that only you can control how you live life.

You may not be able to control all that happens to you in life, but you can surely control your experience.

It’s important not to blame the things that happen to us on others as we are the ones that actually make things happen in our life. Remember, You are in control!

4. My mind, body, and spirit are relaxed

You should never go to bed with anxiety, stress, or in a distorted state of mind.

So tell yourself that you are calm till you actually feel it.

Our mind can convince our body of many things and so repeat this line to yourself until you feel totally calm and can peacefully drift off to sleep.

5. I love Myself

It’s one of the most important affirmations on this list.

If you truly love yourself, it is only then that you will truly take care of yourself and act with your best interests in mind.

We often get too carried away by others and that outside world that we fail to form a bond with the person within and slowly lose that identity.

So most importantly tell this affirmation to yourself every day.

6. I accept everything, the good and the bad of today with positivity

Rarely do days go how we envision them to go.

We often face unwanted drama or problems which we are forced to deal with.

However, this is normal in life and we can’t control it but what we can control is how we react to these situations. So don’t let them get to you or disturb your mental peace.

Tell yourself that you accept the day with its flaws and try to find a positive side to the unwanted things that happened.

7. I will reflect on today’s experiences and think about how I can do better for tomorrow

The most important part of the day is the time when we actually sit down and reflect on everything that happened to us that day and contemplate how we could have improved what happened or how we could have improved our actions or experiences.

We should ask ourselves what went wrong and why it went wrong and whether there was something that could have been done to prevent it from happening.

If something wonderful happened, then why did that happen and how can we make such things occur more in our life?

Asking ourselves this question makes us more mindful than everyone else around us.

We can only solve a problem only when we truly what the problem is.

Reflection is the most important part of our day that can lead to awareness of how we can make the day better tomorrow.

8. I believe in my self and trust myself

Telling your body that you believe and trust yourself is one of the ways of overcoming fear, as sometimes the reason that you have fear inside of you is that you don’t trust or believe in yourself.

Believing in yourself can help you take those risks in life that come before success, It makes you aware of just how far you can go.

9. I learn from my failures and view them as stepping stones to my success

Every day we will not succeed, this may result in us looking at most of our days as failures.

This mistake is made by most people and can cause a lot of negative energy and self- doubt to build up in the mind and this is not good especially before you go to sleep.

We must view our failures as lessons, we can actually learn from these failures. In fact, don’t even call them failures, call them lessons.

10. I strongly believe that my dreams will come true

Do you want your dreams to come true? Do you strongly believe that someday they actually will come true?

The more you tell yourself that, the more it manifests into your subconscious mind, and the faster it becomes reality!

Saying this to your mind and body will give it the push that it needs to make those dreams come true.
